BOOKING & APPOINTMENT POLICIES

Deposit Policy

  • Full service price required as deposit upon booking

  • Deposit secures your appointment time and ensures availability

  • No additional payment needed at time of service

  • Deposits are processed immediately upon booking confirmation

Cancellation & Refund Policy

48-72 Hours in Advance:

  • ⚠️ 50% refund (subject to management discretion)

  • Partial refund processed within 3-5 business days

Less than 48 Hours:

  • ❌ No refund available

  • Deposit is forfeited to compensate for lost booking opportunity

  • Reschedule at no extra charge

Same Day Cancellation/No Show:

  • ❌ No refund + may affect future booking privileges

  • Reschedule at no extra charge

  • Repeated no-shows may result in requirement for same-day payment

Rescheduling Policy

  • Free rescheduling available with 48+ hours notice

  • One free reschedule per booking - additional changes subject to cancellation policy

  • Rescheduling within 24 hours treated as cancellation

Late Arrival Policy

  • Grace period: 15 minutes late without penalty

  • 15+ minutes late: Service time reduced, no price adjustment

  • 30+ minutes late: Appointment may be cancelled, treated as no-show

SERVICE POLICIES

Consultation & Service Delivery

  • All services include consultation to ensure desired results

  • Service provider reserves right to refuse service if hair condition poses health risk

  • Additional services or product needs discovered during appointment require client approval

  • Service times are estimates and may vary based on hair condition and desired results

Hair Health & Safety

  • Client must disclose all chemical treatments, medications, and allergies

  • Service provider reserves right to postpone chemical services if hair integrity is compromised

  • Client assumes responsibility for following aftercare instructions

Product & Retail Policy

  • All retail products sold are final sale unless defective

  • Product recommendations are professional opinions, not guarantees

  • Client responsible for discussing product allergies before purchase

PAYMENT & PRICING

Payment Methods

  • All major credit cards accepted

  • Debit cards accepted

  • Cash accepted for tips and retail purchases only

  • No personal checks accepted

Pricing Policy

  • All prices subject to change with 30-day notice

  • Prices listed are starting prices - final cost determined during consultation

  • Additional services (deep treatments, extra length, etc.) incur additional charges

  • Holiday and special event pricing may apply during peak seasons

CLIENT CONDUCT & EXPECTATIONS

Professional Environment

  • Tha Kut Gallery maintains a professional, family-friendly environment

  • Disruptive behavior, inappropriate language, or disrespectful conduct will not be tolerated

  • Management reserves right to refuse service or terminate appointments for misconduct

Children & Guests

  • Children must be supervised at all times

  • Maximum 1 guest per client during service

  • Guests must not interfere with service delivery or other clients

Cell Phone & Device Policy

  • Phone use permitted but please be mindful of other clients

  • Video/photos of other clients or staff without permission prohibited

  • Music or videos must use headphones

HEALTH & SAFETY

COVID-19 & Health Protocols

  • Clients experiencing illness symptoms should reschedule

  • Hand sanitization required upon entry

  • Health protocols subject to change based on local guidelines

Allergies & Sensitivities

  • Client must disclose all known allergies and sensitivities

  • Patch tests available and recommended for sensitive clients

  • Tha Kut Gallery not liable for allergic reactions to undisclosed sensitivities

Pregnancy & Medical Conditions

  • Pregnant clients must inform service provider

  • Certain chemical services not recommended during pregnancy

  • Clients with medical conditions should consult physician before chemical services

LIABILITY & LIMITATIONS

Service Results

  • Hair services carry inherent risks including but not limited to: color variation, texture changes, breakage

  • Results may vary based on individual hair type, condition, and history

  • Client acknowledges understanding of potential risks

Limitation of Liability

  • Tha Kut Gallery's liability limited to cost of original service

  • Not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages

  • Client assumes responsibility for following aftercare instructions

Property & Personal Items

  • Tha Kut Gallery not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items

  • Valuables should be secured or left at home

  • Lost and found items held for 30 days maximum

PRIVACY & PHOTOGRAPHY

Client Privacy

  • Client information kept confidential per applicable privacy laws

  • Medical and personal information not shared without consent

Photography & Social Media

  • Before/after photos may be taken for portfolio with client consent

  • Client may request not to be photographed

  • Photos may be used on social media and marketing materials with permission

  • Client may revoke photo permission at any time

Reviews & Testimonials

  • Clients encouraged to leave honest reviews

  • Tha Kut Gallery may respond to reviews publicly

  • False or defamatory reviews may result in legal action

BOOKING SYSTEM & TECHNOLOGY

Online Booking

  • Booking system available 24/7 for client convenience

  • Technical issues should be reported immediately

  • Booking confirmations sent via email and/or text

Account Information

  • Clients responsible for maintaining accurate contact information

  • Missed appointments due to incorrect contact info subject to no-show policy

  • Account access is personal and non-transferable

System Maintenance

  • Booking system may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance

  • Alternative booking methods available during system downtime

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Agreement

  • By booking services, client agrees to all terms and policies

  • Policies may be updated with reasonable notice

  • Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms

Dispute Resolution

  • Good faith effort to resolve disputes directly with management preferred

  • Disputes subject to local jurisdiction

  • Arbitration may be required for certain disputes

Severability

  • If any term is found unenforceable, remaining terms stay in effect

  • Invalid provisions will be modified to nearest enforceable equivalent
